Ecolodgy Malawi

Ecolodgy are a sustainability-focused social enterprise based in one of the most environmentally-challenged countries in the world, Malawi. They offer the ability to make a difference to the fate of the planet by training farmers and schoolchildren in developing countries to co-exist in their natural environment. Training is offered in applying nature-based solutions to a variety of pressing issues facing people in Southern Africa. Modules include permaculture, sustainable construction, water management and school level environmental awareness. Ecolodgy works alongside Fairtrade on a variety of projects and they run sustainable projects sponsored by companies such as Tesco and Tata.

Gifts can sometimes feel frivolous when we are all faced with global challenges. For this reason Teals Prairie has partnered with select donation-based gift  providers focused on sustainability and environmental awareness. We screen these providers using world-class certification schemes such as the Fair Trade program.
